Former Liverpool star Jose Enrique posts hilarious video taunting Pep Guardiola

Liverpool just love it when their bitter rivals make the short trip across Stanley Park. The European champions put Everton to the sword in yet another resounding victory to pile the pressure on Blues boss Marco Silva.

Jurgen Klopp has never lost to the noisy neighbours at Goodison as his team recorded their 14th league victory of the season following the 5-2 thumping of Everton on Wednesday night.

The Reds remain unbeaten against their Merseyside counterparts since 2011 and the Blues haven’t won at Anfield this century – their last win all the back in 1999.

Liverpool now have as many wins this season as Everton do points to keep their eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

One former Red’s star to express their delight following Liverpool’s record-breaking start was Spaniard Jose Enrique. The 33-year-old retired full-back was never on the losing end of a Merseyside derby and took personal satisfaction in Liverpool’s latest demolition job over Everton.

Enrique took to social media after the 234th Merseyside derby posting a hilarious video on Instagram of Liverpool players taunting Premier League champions Manchester City.

The post read: “Liverpool 5 – 2 Everton. 32 consecutive games without losing, a new Premier League record

“8 points from the second position Leicester. This video is so good.”
