There has never been a greater night in Anfield’s illustrious history and its difficult to ever see it being surpassed. Six months on from that unforgettable 4-0 victory over Barcelona and still its the topic of talk for Liverpool supporters.
Fresh footage has emerged following an evening where Jurgen Klopp’s team redefined the meaning of the word impossible to make their way to a second successive Champions League final at the expense of the La Liga champions.
International pop star Shakira – wife to Barcelona defender Gerard Pique – has been showcased in Barcelona’s upcoming documentary reacting in disbelief to the capitulation of the Catalonia giants after Liverpool fought back from 3-0 down to emerge victorious in the Champions League semi-finals.
Jurgen Klopp’s side dispatched the five-time holders to stun the world before lifting the famous trophy for a sixth time in Madrid after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 back in June.
The clip was released on Barcelona’s official channel after the Spanish heavyweights surrendered a three-goal advantage in the Champions League for a second consecutive season.

Shakira was filmed watching the semi-final second leg with her kids hoping to see her husband’s side progress to a third European final this decade. However, by the end of the Anfield contest, the famous musician was left utterly bemused following the Liverpool victory stating ‘No! I can’t believe it. No!’
Following the footage released by Barcelona, Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to react to the hilarious footage following one of the greatest sporting comebacks in recent memory.

I just love to see it because that day they stopped laughing at Liverpool. Nothing personal, no hatred towards Barca but Liverpool bullied the cockiness of Barca and my cousin had to shut up. I told him he can have his Coutinho. We did it without Salah & Firmino for 90 mins.
