According to reports from the Daily Mail, Liverpool are the latest club supposedly in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.
Sancho, 19, has quickly established himself as one of the hottest young properties in world football with a number of European heavyweights keen on the teenager’s signature.
The former Manchester City prodigy has 18 goals in 71 appearances for the Bundesliga runners-up as well as a gargantuan 31 assists following his move from the Citizens in 2017.

However, Sancho’s form has dipped this season with Dortmund falling to sixth in the league table following their 4-0 humiliation to bitter rivals Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Despite this, the teenager has still managed three goals and six assists already this campaign. At such a young age, Sancho’s promise would be unquantifiable should Liverpool sign the £100 million rated forward.
Interestingly, the report has caused a divide of opinions from Liverpool supporters on social media. Many feel that this is the big money signing Jurgen Klopp has been waiting for whilst others believe the Reds should hold out for a more established player.
The worry for Sancho would be that, despite being one of the best forwards currently in Europe, the Englishman would be unlikely to break into Liverpool’s front-three as of yet.
Also, the former City man’s price tag would be a club-record signing for Liverpool and some would be cautious of the European champions spending that money on a player who is unproven in the Premier League as well as for his national team.
Here is what some Kopites have to make of the recent reports…
Sancho is a very good player of high potential but I’d rather have Mbappe in all honesty.
I know it’s unlikely but spending 120 million on Sancho tells me we may aswell test PSG’s resolve and go a bit higher for someone who will become the world’s greatest player.— S.O.C (@ScorpioStevie) November 13, 2019
Mbappe wants to play for Madrid. If we bought him, he would want to move in 3-4 years. Maybe sancho is the same, but I feel like he is less likely to want another big move, and I think we would have him for longer

Don’t get where he would fit in?

I’d be kind of surprised if we went for him if he really is having behavior issues. Klopp won’t take players with big attitudes towards the clubs that employ them
