Liverpool fans have a transfer theory that Philippe Coutinho’s recent Instagram activity suggests that the Brazilian is on his way out at Barcelona.

This week, a report from Calciomercato has Liverpool supporters on high alert.

The Italian news outlet suggests that the Reds could negotiate a two-year loan deal with the right to buy the Brazilian permanently in 2021 for a huge £88million fee.

The former Espanyol midfielder is exactly what Liverpool need as they have yet to replace him since he left and who better to replace Philippe Coutinho than Philippe Coutinho?

Now, the 27-year-old has removed Barcelona from his Instagram bio which is exactly what he did with Liverpool right before he joined the Catalonian side last year.

Here is how supporters have reacted on Twitter…

Liverpool signing Coutinho would perfect their starting XI and provide Jurgen Klopp with a myriad of options in his front three and midfield trio given his versatility.

Beyond that, all the Reds would need to do would be to sign a backup left-back for Andy Roberson following Alberto Moreno’s departure for Villarreal this summer.

The next few weeks will be extremely interesting even if Coutinho doesn’t wind up signing for the European Champions.
