Melissa Reddy reports that there is a contingent of key Liverpool stars that will sign new contracts in the near future as Reds look to tie more of their best players down to long term agreements.

As things stand, he is free to talk to European outfits about a sealing a free transfer next summer but widespread reports suggest that he is keen to stay at Anfield after the stunning events of last season.
The Belgian isn’t the only Liverpool player that is expected to sign fresh terms in the coming weeks and months as the ESPN report says that James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joel Matip are expected to agree new deals with the Reds.
Virgil van Dijk is also expected to receive a new contract after he told the club he wants to extend his stay at the club.
