Liverpool must make a move to sign Bruno Fernandes and Correio de Manha are reporting that a bid from the Reds this summer would “change everything”.
After winning the Champions League this month, Jurgen Klopp will be able to make a more convincing pitch to interested players than he has ever been able to.
There are very few sides in the world that are more ambitious than the Reds are and they have the money, players and coaching staff to make their goals become reality.
One player that would be able to significantly improve Liverpool is Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes and although his contract includes a huge £86million release clause, the Mirror reports that £71m would see him given permission to leave the Portuguese outfit.
Signing a midfielder for £71m when Liverpool already have a wealth of talent in central areas might not be a priority but it would certainly go a long way to improve a side that doesn’t need much improving.
He scored 28 goals and assisted another 14 this season and is arguably one of the most exciting midfield prospects in world football and by signing him, it would also mean none of the Reds’ rivals would be able to get their hands on the Portugal international.
His attacking talent would aid the Anfield outfit in their incoming attempt to win the Premier League title which is made all the more difficult by the fact that Manchester City seem to break records every season.
