Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn could join Hull City on loan next season, according to Goal’s Neil Jones.
Woodburn was subjected to poor treatment during his Championship loan spell at Sheffield United last season.
He only started one game, being introduced from the bench six times before he returned to Melwood to train with the Liverpool first team.
With the Champions League final beckoning for the Reds, there is a chance he will be included in Liverpool’s 23-man matchday squad to face Spurs at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
After his torrid time with Sheffield, Jurgen Klopp and co are still aware that he needs regular game time at senior level to develop.
According to Goal, Woodburn will go out on loan again next season, with Hull keen on acquiring his services.
The 19-year-old has a bright future and has shown on several occasions for the Wales national team that he is a bright spark and is more than capable of producing special moments.
One such moment came when he was introduced from the bench against Austria for his international debut with the score stuck at 0-0. The Liverpool midfielder went on to score a 25-yard winner.
Klopp is hoping that a loan spell next season can help Woodburn learn to produce such moments with more frequency and to become used to the rigour of senior football.
