Liverpool are set for a busy summer, with several ins and outs being touted and the Daily Mail reports that Felipe Anderson is on the Reds’ radar.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to say goodbye to Daniel Sturridge as the former Chelsea forward’s contract is set to expire at the end of next month after spending six years at Anfield.

With the Englishman leaving the club, the Liverpool boss wants a versatile attacker capable of playing across the front three.

There are a lot of players that fit this bill and, according to Sportmail,  West Ham talisman Felipe Anderson is on Liverpool’s radar after a fine season with the Hammers.

The Brazilian scored 10 goals and assisted four for a very inconsistent side that finished 10th in the Premier League this season.

The Daily Mail doesn’t mention what kind of fee that Manuel Pellegrini would be looking for in exchange for the services of his best forward but given that he only arrived last summer for £36m, the Londoners would be wanting to make a tidy profit.

Anything over £40m for Anderson would be too much when you consider that Liverpool signed Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah for £99million.

The trio has really set the bar for what is expected of a front three in England and while Liverpool will have to overpay from time to time, Michael Edwards will be looking to sign players of their ilk in the same price bracket.

Anderson would be a speedy and clinical option from the bench but his price would likely be too much when you consider that he will likely spend the majority of his time at the club on the bench.
