Liverpool will once again head out to Spain for a warm-weather training camp as a way to allow his players the chance to prepare for the Champions League final.

The Reds are scheduled to face Spurs in the Champions League final next month and will travel to either Marbella or Majorca for a warm weather training camp.

The Times reports that Jurgen Klopp plans on using the three-week break between Liverpool’s final Premier League game of the season and the final in Madrid to take his players on a week-long training camp.

A win in Madrid will secure Liverpool their first piece of silverware under Klopp but fans are not convinced by the prospect of the German and his squad going to Marbella or Majorca for a training camp.

Responding to the news on Twitter, some fans have suggested that the trip to Spain might hand the advantage to Spurs in the Champions League final.

Here is how some fans have reacted.

Despite the superstitions of Liverpool fans on social media, given that the final is in Madrid, it makes perfect sense to go to a training camp in Spain.

Liverpool have lost just one game in their last 21 appearances and that was in Spain against Barcelona last week.

While that defeat has more to do with Klopp’s questionable tactics, the German can’t take any risks with the final of such great importance.
