Naby Keita was cruelly injured against Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final but the Guinean rejoiced in his team winning 4-0 in the second leg from the comfort of his home.
The former RB Leipzig star was the victim of a dangerous scissor tackle from Ivan Rakitic at Camp Nou.
The tackle damaged the midfielder’s groin and has ruled him out of action for the season but he could yet be rewarded for his performances with a winners medal in the Champions League.
Liverpool’s 4-0 win at Anfield means they progress to the final in historic fashion.
Very few teams in the world could have pulled off the comeback that the Reds did and if there is any justice in the world, Jurgen Klopp’s team will emerge from the final in Madrid triumphant.
Keita’s reaction to seeing his teammates beat Barcelona was one of absolute joy as he posted a video on his Instagram of his celebrations.
Look at Naby Keita, man. I’m crying. pic.twitter.com/VHeVGbedOH

The 24-year-old jumped to his feet in the video, tossing aside his recovery pad and pumped his fists in celebration.
This season has been tough for Keita as he has struggled with injury, missing over two months as a result.
He has been hugely impressive towards the end of this season and will be gutted at the thought of missing the final which he deserves to be involved in for his performances against Bayern Munich and Porto.
Liverpool will face either Ajax or Tottenham in the final depending on who is victorious in the second leg this evening.
After facing the likes of Bayern Munich, Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, Klopp’s players will believe that they can beat whoever they face in Madrid.
Winning the Champions League will make the disappointment of potentially losing out on the Premier League title easier to accept and will be a deserved reward for Liverpool’s insane efforts this season.
