The Dutchman was superb for Ajax Amsterdam against Spurs at their new stadium on Tuesday evening and Liverpool fans want Jurgen Klopp to sign him.
The Ajax skipper has burst onto the scene this year and is certain to leave his life in Amsterdam behind as the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool circle, as reported by the Mirror.
His teammate Frenkie De Jong has already secured £65million move to Barcelona and it would come as no surprise to see de Ligt follow suit.

Liverpool need to make sure they beat the Catalonians in the Champions League this evening but beating them to de Ligt’s signature would be an even bigger win.
The young Dutchman is the future of the defensive game and whoever signs him has a top defender for the next decade.
Here’s what Liverpool fans have to say on the matter.
If Liverpool signed De Ligt, played him alongside van Dijk with Allison behind them and Fabinho in front we wouldn’t concede a goal until 2028. Apart from when they’re rested in the League Cup #LFC #ChampionsLeague #UCL #TOTAJA

If Liverpool doesn't get Ziyech/De Ligt/Neres. Van de Beek are so underrated, so get him for £30m.

If Liverpool managed to pair Van Dijk and De Ligt together at Anfield they’d have the best defensive partnership in world football for the next 4 years.

Ajax are a great young side. Shame it looks like most the talent will go. Just like what happened with Monaco years ago. Would love De Ligt at Liverpool!

Klopp has said recently that he’s not expecting this summer to be the biggest spending spree in the club’s history but given he’s said that before, there is still hope that Liverpool can sign the likes of de Ligt.
The Ajax no.4 is a superstar in the making and is showing maturity well beyond his years.
Signing him would guarantee that Liverpool would have the best defensive partnership in the world for a few years.
