Liverpool need to be one of the clubs looking to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer as the Moroccan has been unbelievable for Ajax this season.
As Ajax beat yet another European heavyweight, the vultures from around the continent threaten to close in at any moment.
Barcelona have already secured a huge deal for Frenkie de Jong while Matthijs de Ligt is certain to leave this summer as well.
The one player that isn’t being linked with big clubs nearly as much as he should be is Hakim Ziyech.
The Moroccan was stellar for his home nation at the World Cup but has been even better for Ajax this season. Ziyech has scored 17 goals and assisted 14 in all competitions for the Dutch side.
It would be fair to point out that the vast majority of these goals and assists have come in a weaker league in Eredivisie.
That being said, the 26-year-old has been crucial to Ajax overcoming Real Madrid and Juventus in the Champions League.
For Liverpool, he would fill a position that is still neglected despite Naby Keita’s fine form.
The attacking midfielder would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp and is only just entering his prime years.
With the Reds squad full of players younger than 28, they are primed for an all-out assault on England and Europe in the next few years.
Signing him wouldn’t cost too much either as his current deal expires in July 2021.
