Liverpool fans have responded to accusations that Fabinho cleared his nose on to Eden Hazard while he was receiving treatment.
The Brazilian, according to a skewed TV angle, appeared to block his right nostril and clear his left right next to an injured Eden Hazard.
Naturally, opposition fans reacted with shock and disgust but despite the fact he does clear his nose, it was not as close to the Chelsea forward as some believed.
The depth of TV broadcasts is often skewed and Liverpool fans on Twitter have cleared the matter up.
The fact that neither Hazard, Chelsea’s medical staff or referee Michael Oliver reacted to the incident says a lot.
The Brazilian clearly didn’t get any of his phlegm on Hazard and the whole uproar was more down to opposition fans wanting to paint Liverpool a certain way.
Here is how fans on Twitter reacted.
Fabinho cleared his nose
– when the referee was standing frets away and a good view of it
– No protests by Hazard or med. team
– They Hi5 minutes later
– No mentions on postmatch press talk.
But Fabinho should be banned becoz Clinical Eden, Hazard role, Hazard szn are offended.

Some people are genuinely taking a four second video of Fabinho to drive an agenda. How laughable. 😂

This Fabinho thing is the weirdest attempt of a smear I've seen in ages.
Yeah lads, he blows his nose on him. Deffo. That's why the ref, the physios & Hazard don't react. Makes loads more sense than the camera angle making him look closer to Hazard than he actually is.

The salty gammon masses trying to get Fabinho banned for blowing his nose now 😂

A smoke pellet gets thrown into the Chelsea end and all of a sudden it's a stick of dynamite that's badly injured a 9 year old disabled kid??
Fabinho clears his nose 2 yard away from an injured player but its claimed he emptied his nose on him??
Social Media at its daftest!

Fabinho pushed his right nostril which means he snorted from the left one which means it never went near Hazard.

There are a lot of non-Liverpool fans that are desperate to see them fail and instances like this are just attempts to slur the Merseysiders when there is really nothing to talk about.
If Fabinho had spat or cleared his nose on Hazard, most Reds would have been just as disgusted as opposition fans but it’s a moot point.
