Jordan Henderson trained at Melwood on Tuesday but Dejan Lovren and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were absent from the session.
After a blip earlier this year when it looked like the Reds were suffering a costly loss of form, the Reds could end the season with two major titles.
A win against Porto on Wednesday evening will see Jurgen Klopp and his players progress to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
With the form the German’s side has displayed recently, they will fancy their chances of making it to the final even if it is up against Leo Messi’s Barcelona.
After picking up a knock against Chelsea, Jordan Henderson trained at Melwood on Tuesday, Neil Jones confirms. The skipper is resurgent in his new no.8 role in front of Fabinho.
The Goal UK journalist also added that Dejan Lovren and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were missing from training but the reason for this is unknown.
While neither were likely to start in Portugal, it would be a major concern if either has picked up another injury. For Lovren, in particular, it would be an issue as the Croatian has proved to be very injury-prone.
In fact, he has never played more than six games consecutively for Liverpool in the Premier League.
With Klopp likely to be active in the summer transfer window once more, Lovren should be worried about his future at the club.
He is often injured and when he is fit, he has a tendency to make costly errors that has thankfully not affected Liverpool this season too much.
If there was one player that most fans would rejoice at seeing leave the club it would be Lovren.
