Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport that Liverpool, Spurs, Juventus and Manchester United will be the teams to make it to the last four of the Champions League.
It is no surprise that the former Manchester United centre-back has tipped his side to progress despite losing at home to Barcelona but it is interesting that he doesn’t think Manchester City will beat Spurs at home.
He told BT Sport: “Liverpool will go through. Spurs will go through after last night. Juventus will go through.
“And my heart says Man United will go through. My head? Depends which (Lionel) Messi turns up.”

After securing a 2-0 lead at home against Porto, Liverpool have become the favourites to progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League for the second season in a row.
Jurgen Klopp will fancy his chances against any of the remaining sides even if it could mean coming up against Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho.
That said, Barcelona looked very tame at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening and given the explosive nature of Liverpool’s play style, the Reds are made to succeed in European competition.
Add to that the fact that Jurgen Klopp has never lost a two-legged European cup tie and it would be unwise to bet against his rampant Liverpool side.

While the Argentine is capable of decimating top sides on his own, it would be great to see arguably the greatest player of all time playing at Anfield.
With van Dijk marshalling the troops at the back, Liverpool would probably fancy their chances of beating any team in the world at the moment.
