Mohamed Salah reveals that he would rather win the Premier League than the UEFA Champions League because of how desperate supporters are to see the title come home.

Liverpool haven’t won a league title for 29 years and the desire to win the Premier League for the first time is burning hot this season.

The Reds are just one point behind Manchester City and can go top of the table this weekend with a win over Fulham even if it’s only because the champions will have played a game fewer.

Salah is also desperate to win the league and says he would be willing to sacrifice his dream of winning a European Cup to make domestic glory a reality for supporters once again.

“I will be honest with you, the most prestigious competition for me is the Champions League,” Salah said.

“But the dream for the entire city and the club is the league. So, I am happy to sacrifice my dream for their dream but if we win both that would great and this is what we are trying to do.”

While I would rather see Liverpool win both the Premier League and the Champions League, if made to choose, I would have to say seeing the Reds beat City to the title would be the most satisfactory.
