BBC pundit Chris Sutton has tipped Liverpool to go on and end their title drought by leapfrogging Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

The Reds conceded top spot to the Citizens when they drew with Everton at Goodison Park just over a week ago while City were fortunate to beat Bournemouth on the South Coast.

Jurgen Klopp’s side is just one point behind Pep Guardiola’s and could go top of the table on Sunday if the can beat Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Chris Sutton told the Daily Mail:  “Liverpool and Manchester City have the top two sewn up and it will be tight.

“But I’m backing Pochettino to snap Spurs out of their tough run while Solskjaer will make sure United don’t dwell on the 2-0 loss at Arsenal.”

It might just be my unchecked desire to see Liverpool win the league but I believe the Reds can come from behind to beat City to the title. Anything else will be a nightmare for Reds fans across the world.
