Arsenal are set to lose Aaron Ramsey either in January or next summer as they are unwilling to pay his wage demands but Liverpool are reportedly set to make an offer to turn the Welshman’s head.

Ramsey has been at Arsenal for eight years but his career with the Gunners may be coming to an end as the North London outfit is unwilling to put him on a similar wage structure to Mesut Ozil.

With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain injured for the rest of the season, Liverpool could be left short in midfield if there are any more injuries in the engine room with James Milner also on the sidelines now.

According to Calciomercato, via the Express, Ramsey is a player that Jurgen Klopp believes could be a good stop-gap solution to Chamberlain’s injury and an alternative to Nabil Fekir after his summer move fell through.

The report from the Italian news outlet claims that “Liverpool are very interested and are ready to put on the plate a rich offer to snatch the Welshman.” Arsenal won’t pay more than the £110,000 that Ramsey makes every week and he is considering leaving the club in the next eight months.
