Aside from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, every single senior Liverpool player is in training as a very tough run of games draws to a close with a monumental clash against Manchester City.
After all the doom and gloom on social media following defeat to Napoli on Wednesday, it is refreshing to hear that Klopp has just about every single senior player available to him this weekend.
Chambo is on the comeback from a serious knee injury, putting in lots of hard work in the gym while Naby Keita is training but still a doubt for the weekend. Klopp spoke about the Guinean in his press conference, saying: “I’m not 100 per cent sure yet.
“Back spasm. We have to wait a bit. He will be in today, but I don’t know if he can do something. Didn’t look too serious, so there’s a chance but we don’t know.”
When asked about injury news, Klopp said: “They are all in full training,” before adding that he and his players are ‘desperate’ to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain return to full fitness.
He said: “Oxlade-Chamberlain is not to be replaced, that is key. I cannot think about him at the moment unfortunately.
“We had similar situations with these little runs, in between winning the ball and being spot on. We are desperate to have him back, better sooner than later.”
