Thomas Tuchel snapped at a reporter when asked about the Champions League clash with Liverpool next week but did say that Marco Veratti might be fit to face the Reds.
While Klopp will have his attention and efforts focused on securing a win at Wembley on Saturday, the German boss will have one eye on Liverpool’s midweek clash with PSG at Anfield.
The Reds’ hallowed ground will bost one of the biggest games Europe will see this season as the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe visit Merseyside in the hopes of securing three points for the Paris-based club.
Thomas Tuchel was attending a press conference ahead of PSG’s Ligue 1 meeting with St. Etienne and snapped at a reporter when asked about the match against Liverpool but did reveal that Marco Veratti is close to returning from injury.
“This is not the subject,” he replied when asked about Liverpool. “Today is about St Etienne and everyone in the club should be aware that it’s important.”
On Veratti, Tuchel divulged: “It is really important for a player with Marco’s qualities to come back and be in good health.
“He has worked very hard and he has to work very hard in the future to stay healthy.
“He has extraordinary qualities. He can make differences in the middle. He is a very brave player who always wants the ball.”
