Mohamed Salah broadcasted live on Facebook on Monday evening and spoke out against the Egyptian Football Federation over ongoing image rights concerns.
Before the World Cup began, it began to emerge that Mohamed Salah’s image rights had been violated by the EFA, getting him in trouble with Vodafone.
Despite constant efforts from the player’s agent, no response has been received from the EFA over issues regarding Salah’s personal image rights as well as his personal safety at the team’s hotel in Russia.
With concerns moving forward regarding safety not being met, letter after letter has been sent to the EFA but to no avail. Salah spoke out on Facebook regarding his concerns and how the actions of Egypt’s Football Federation are ‘not normal’.
He said on Facebook: “It’s normal that a football federation seeks to solve the problems of its players so they can feel comfortable.
“But really, what I see is exactly the opposite. It’s not normal that my messages and my lawyer’s letters are ignored.
“I do not know why this is all (happening)? Don’t you have enough time to answer us?!”
Salah’s Facebook outcry came a day after the player’s agent Ramy Abbas wrote on Twitter: “Enough is enough.”
