Besiktas updated their header on Twitter with a photo of Loris Karius, seemingly confirming that the German goalkeeper is set to complete a move to Turkey.
The last week has seen mass speculation over whether or not Karius will move to Besiktas on a two-year loan deal after it became clear that he doesn’t have a future at Liverpool as first choice goalkeeper.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Brighton at Anfield, Klopp said: “There’s nothing new about Loris’ actual situation.
“Nothing’s decided. If it happens, that’s how things go in football. That can happen.”
A loan move would suit Karius as it gives him the chance to prove to the world once again that he has what it takes to be a top goalkeeper and away from the expectation of playing for Liverpool, he should succeed.
And Besiktas have seemingly confirmed that the German will join them this month after accidentally changing their Twitter head to a picture of Karius edited into a Besiktas top but it has since been changed back.
Despite hastily removing the photo, Liverpool fans were quick to screenshot it and repost it on Twitter.
