Liverpool defender Anderson Arroyo has completed a loan move to Belgian side KAA Gent for the 2018-19 season and will link up with Taiwo Awoniyi.
Loris Karius and Divock Origi are dominating headlines at the moment as the pair look to seal moves away from the club this summer with it highly unlikely either will see much game time this season.
Alisson Becker’s £67million move to Anfield essentially means that the German would only play in the early rounds of the domestic cups and for Origi, there is no chance he would be able to play ahead of Salah, Mané and Roberto Firmino.
Elsewhere, 18 year old Anderson Arroyo has completed a season-long loan move to Belgian outfit KAA Gent where he will link up with Taiwo Awoniyi.
A statement on Liverpool’s official website reads: “Anderson Arroyo has joined Belgian side KAA Gent on loan for the 2018-19 season.
“A deal has now been agreed for Arroyo, a right-back, to switch to Gent and spend the duration of the current campaign in Belgium’s top division.
“He will link up with Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi, who sealed a season-long loan move to Gent earlier in the summer and has made seven appearances so far.”
Goodluck for the season ahead, Anderson.
