Paulo Dybala will remain at Juventus next season to provide a quality supporting cast for Cristiano Ronaldo despite suggestions he could join Liverpool.
Last week, it was reported that Liverpool were in talks with Paulo Dybala’s agent as the Reds enquired about a move for the 24-year-old in the midst of widespread speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo is closing in on a move to Juventus.
The Real Madrid legend will reportedly cost Juve £88 million and there have been claims that, despite the move supposedly being financed by Fiat, the club would need to sell assets like Dybala or Gonzalo Higuain.
However, reports from Italy on the weekend quashed any claims that Dybala would leave the club this summer.
Italian news publication Il Giornale claims that Dybala will not in fact leave Juventus this summer but will rather stay and offer support to Ronaldo.
Juve boss Max Allegri is keen for the Argentinian to remain at the club and if there was any interest from Liverpool, they will find their path blocked in any serious approach this summer.
A deal for Nabil Fekir could still be completed this summer if a few things fall into place and he would serve to inject creativity and goals into the Reds’ midfield.
