Željko Buvač has agreed terms to become Fenerbache’s new manager after having talks with former sporting director Damien Comolli.
At the end of April, it was revealed in the British press that Željko Buvač was leaving the club due to personal reasons.
While there is some doubt surrounding why he left the club, it’s slowly becoming clear that the Bosnian left the coaching staff to make his own name in the world of football.
According to Turkish outlet Sporx, Buvač is set to become Fenerbache’s new manager.
Buvač has apparently agreed on personal terms with Fenerbache and will soon become the head coach of the Turkish giant.
This is after working with Klopp for the past 17 years, winning silverware at Borussia Dortmund and starting the revolution at Anfield.
For Liverpool, losing Buvač is a big loss due to his massive contribution to Klopp’s tactics and unique style of play but given that Pep Lijnders rejoined the coaching staff last week, it will soften the blow.
