Liverpool loan Ovie Ejaria to Rangers

Liverpool have loaned Ovie Ejaria to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers as the former Reds midfielder looks to piece together his first senior squad.

While Jürgen Klopp has signed two midfielders and is closing in on a third, the German also needs to take into consideration the players at the club that need game time this season but won’t get it starting at Anfield.

Many are curious as to what the future holds for Ben Woodburn and Harry Wilson but Ovie Ejaria is another academy graduate whose future is exciting.

With Steven Gerrard looking to build an exciting team, he has been linked with several of the club’s talented youngsters.

The Evening Times reports that Rangers have “completed a loan deal for Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria.

After spending the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Sunderland, Ejaria will spend the 2018/19 season in Glasgow as he looks to gain first team experience and at 20 years of age, it’s the perfect stage of his career to be out learning from more experienced professionals.

As a midfielder, there are very few coaches out there that can offer Ejaria the kind of guidance Steven Gerrard can.

Having won numerous trophies with Liverpool as well as countless personal accolades, Gerrard knows exactly what it takes to become the best of the best

While very few have tipped Ejaria for the same kind of career, he couldn’t be afforded a better football education than by being trained by Gerrard.
