Sadio Mané says he can’t wait to play with “good friend” Naby Keïta next season, with the Guinean completing a big money move to Liverpool in July.
Liverpool will look to topple Real Madrid as champions of Europe on Saturday as they aim to make Kiev the setting of yet another great win on the continent.
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and, of course, Sadio Mané are expected to be the main protagonists for the Reds, with a combined 89 goals scored between the trio.
Despite prior reports, Naby Keita will not be in attendance despite being invited by Jürgen Klopp.
“I don’t think he will come to the final, but of course he will watch the game. I am always texting him,” Mané says.
With Keita set to be officially unveiled as a Liverpool player on the 1st of July, Mané says he is excited about the RB Leipzig dynamo arriving on Merseyside.
Mané said: “He is my good friend. He said after we reached the final, ‘congratulations, I am looking forward to coming (to Liverpool)’. He will do great. He is a great player and he will do very well.”
