Jürgen Klopp has reportedly met with super agent Mino Raiola about signing AC Milan’s Gianluigi and Ajax Amsterdam’s Justin Kluivert this summer.

After an incredible season, one that is not yet over for Liverpool, reports indicate that Klopp is looking to add two young superstars to his side, with his eyes reportedly on 19-year-olds Gianluigi Donnarumma and Justin Kluivert.

With Naby Keïta already signed and set to arrive at the club on the 1st of July, Klopp is not wasting time as he looks to add to areas of his team that need strengthening.

Kluivert, as a one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers, is reportedly being targeted to offer an alternative to either Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah. The Dutchman scored 11 goals and created a further five in all competitions this season.

Making the step up from the Eredivisie to the Premier League would be quite challenging, especially for a smaller player like Kluivert, who stands at just 5″6′.

Gianluigi Donnarrumma, on the other hand, stands at a towering 6 foot 4 inches and has all the tools to succeed in the Premier League. His youth could be a factor in convincing FSG that he is worth the massive fee he would command as at just 19 years of age, he has 15 or more years left in his career.

According to Italian publication Tutto Mercato Web, Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has met with Mino Raiola about completing a double deal for Donnarumma and Kluivert. Liverpool are yet to make an offer for either teenager.

Earlier this month, Ajax chief Edwin van der Sar accused Raiola of trying to engineer a move away from Holland for Kluivert,

“We have been talking for 10 months now [about a renewal], and we are a bit done with it all now,” he said.

“He is difficult to keep. His agent pushes him towards the exit, which is a shame.

“It is not our intention to let players aged 18 or 19 leave the club. That is not the philosophy of Ajax.”
