Liverpool confirm 30-man squad to travel to Germany for Audi Cup

Liverpool have announced the 30-man squad that will travel to Germany for three friendlies and a training camp today.

The next part of Liverpool’s pre-season preparation includes a trip to Jürgen Klopp’s homeland with three friendlies on the cards.

The squad for the trip has been announced with Klopp taking 30 players with him including new signing Andy Robertson and Sadio Mané.

DefendersNathaniel Clyne, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren, Jöel Matip, James Milner, Alberto Moreno, Ragnar Klavan, Jon Flanagan, Joe Gomez

Liverpool travel today with the Reds landing in Munich later today and will play Hertha Berlin on Saturday after two days of training.

Bayern Munich will be the Reds’ first involvement in the Audi Cup and that game takes place next Wednesday on the 1st of August. Playing the German champions will be a real test for Liverpool ahead of their involvement in the Champions League next season.

With the likes of Emre Can and Sadio Mané returning to the side, Liverpool are starting to shape up ahead of their Premier League opener in just over two week’s time against Watford on August 12th.
