Mohamed Salah should be able to make his Liverpool debut against Wigan Athletic on Friday if all the correct paperwork comes through, writes James Pearce.
Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah from AS Roma last month for a club record £36.9 million but supporters might have to wait until Friday to catch their first glimpse of him in a red shirt.
Although Jürgen Klopp’s side are playing Tranmere Rovers this evening, Salah won’t be in the squad due to immigration policies. In fact, the Egyptian isn’t even in Britain at the moment.
Salah is in Paris as he had to leave the U.K for 24 hours before re-entering the country, in keeping with immigration rules.

According to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, the winger could make his debut for the Reds on Friday if all the necessary paperwork is completed in time.
Last season, Salah scored 19 goals and created a further 12 for teammates and fans are understandably aggrieved at being made to wait longer to see him in action.
There is no indication that there will further issues once Salah returns to England and from there on out, it will be business as usual for Liverpool as they prepare for a massive season in the Premier League and Champions League alike.
