Jürgen Klopp will take his players to Tenerife for more warm weather training despite the failure of Liverpool’s La Manga training camp.
Liverpool spent several days in La Manga for team bonding and training in a warmer climate during a 16-day stretch without football. This gameless period stretched between Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Spurs at Anfield and then the 3-1 disaster at the King Power Stadium.
The trip will take place during the next batch of world cup qualifiers and those not on international duty will head to Tenerife, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The news that Liverpool’s players will be treated to another trip to sunny Spain was met with great discontent by fans on Twitter.
Jurgen Klopp is planning to whisk his Liverpool squad away to Tenerife for another warm-weather training camp later this month. (Echo)

If Liverpool lose the game immediately following their trip to Tenerife, I can only imagine the scenes. Jürgen Klopp is desperately looking to find a way to inspire this group of players to Champions League football next season and may be unsuccessful unless things change very soon.
Arsenal visit Anfield tomorrow in the Reds’ next test. Fortunately, Dejan Lovren has returned to training which is a massive boost as it will mean Lucas Leiva won’t have to play in central defence. If Liverpool fail to win, it will make achieving Champions League qualification all that harder.
