Even though Liverpool can be incredibly frustrating to watch at times, there is a lot to be happy about right now when looking through a red-tinted lens.
In a great article by Neil Jones, the Echo reveals Liverpool’s incredible start to the season from a statistical vantage point. It’s well known that Jurgen Klopp’s side have plundered 18 goals already this term, but what may not be public knowledge is that 7 different players have scored them.
Another revealing statistic is that Liverpool has completed the most passes out of any side in the league with a whopping 4220 passes reaching their mark in the opening seven games of the season. This demonstrates how dominant Liverpool has been as not even Arsenal(4189) have made more passed than the Merseyside club.
Liverpool has been a joy to watch and their knack for big games has seen them rise to the occasion against the Gunners, Leicester City and Chelsea and all indications point towards a fifth successive league win when Manchester United travel to Anfield next on the 17th of October.
