Liverpool takes on Hull City tomorrow in Anfield’s second game of the season and the Reds were at Melwood training in the Autumn sun.
Hull came into the Premier League this season with most expecting the Tigers to drop straight back down to the Championship, but Mike Phelan’s side have exceeded expectations and won their opening two games of the season – including a shock win over Leicester City.
A 0-0 draw against Manchester United was minutes away but Marcus Rashford dashed their hopes with a goal in the 92nd minute of the game.
Liverpool, after slipping to a 2-0 loss against Burnley, will need to expel the bogey of not being able to beat ‘small’ teams.
Training preparations looked focused but enjoyable with Klopp insisting in his press conference yesterday that his team’s mentality in these games cannot be called into question.
Rather, he claims it’s a case of ‘bus-parking and also said that his side needs to be angry against Hull.

According to the Daily Post, Klopp said, “We need to be angry against Hull because they want our points. That makes me angry!
“We are able to create chances against all teams. So many people think we have a problem against bus parking but I cannot remember a lot of space against Chelsea or Tottenham.
“If you create chances against Chelsea, it’s positive. If you miss, it’s still positive. If you miss a chance against Burnley, it’s (seen as) negative.”
