Mario Balotelli completed a move to Nice on deadline day, but according to his agent, Jurgen Klopp didn’t handle the situation well.
Jurgen Klopp informed Mario Balotelli a few months back that there was no room for the troublesome forward in his plans at Liverpool. The former Manchester City forward was told to find a new club and made to train with the reserves.
Balotelli’s two years with Liverpool were turbulent, to say the least. Brendan Rodgers signed the Italian as a replacement for Luis Suarez and was supposed to replace the crazy genius of the Uruguyuan but failed to bring the same level of football, despite a similar level of controversy.
However, Mino Raiola – Balotelli’s agent, has come out with a scathing review of Liverpool’s handling of the forward.
Speaking to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via the Express, Raiola said, “At the end of the day the Liverpool directors admitted Klopp was unfair,” Raiola said.
“I won’t judge him as a Coach, even if for me he isn’t a great tactician, but I don’t think he realised we were talking about a person. Mario was exemplary, he never complained even when training alone.
“It’s not enough to say Klopp was unfair: he was a piece of sh*t.”
If we’re talking about that which is sh*t, then we shouldn’t be talking about Klopp, but rather about Balotelli who scored 7 goals in two years. Raiola clearly doesn’t think much of Klopp but the £27 million that he earned in agent fees, according to AS via the Express, should help him sleep at night.
