Possibly the best news that I have heard in a while, Loris Karius has returned to full training with those who aren’t on international duty after successful rehabilitation on his broken hand.
Karius, who Liverpool signed for £4.7 million from Mainz, suffered a broken hand in a pre-season fixture against Chelsea during Liverpool’s tour of the United States.
The 23-year old underwent surgery on his hand to correct the damage done and has had a near perfect rehabilitation. Despite Simon Mignolet’s impressive display against Spurs on the weekend, Karius is still Liverpool’s best goalkeeper. Once fit, the German is expected
Despite Simon Mignolet’s impressive display against Spurs on the weekend, Karius is still Liverpool’s best goalkeeper. Once fit, the German is expected to be brought straight into the side. Jurgen Klopp’s defence is starting to fall into place with Joel Matip making his Premier League debut against Spurs, and Karius to make his very soon.
Left-back is still crying out for attention, and personally, I’m hoping that Klopp has been teasing us this whole time and has a replacement lined up for Alberto Moreno.
