Liverpool is resisting loan offers for Danny Ings as Jurgen Klopp has plans for the former Burnley forward.
Sunderland is the latest Premier League club to look into taking Danny Ings on loan, but there will be no move for Ings this summer as Klopp is looking to keep the Englishman at Liverpool, report the Mirror.
Ings is still recovering from a knee injury which kept him out for most of last season, making just one competitive appearance under Jurgen Klopp against West Brom on the last day of the season.
The fact that Ings is yet to feature for Liverpool in the Premier League this season has made several clubs curious about his position within the Liverpool squad, but Klopp has insisted that he is easing Ings back into regular football:
“We’re counting on Ingsy. He is a fantastic boy,” Klopp said earlier this month.
“He was injured since October last year and he needed time. Now he’s getting better and better.

“He knows himself that in the first two or three weeks of pre-season even though he scored in the games it was too intense for him. We had to rest him a few times.
“It wasn’t a real reaction of the knee but it was about feeling comfortable.”
Ings was supposed to make an appearance against Burton Albion in Liverpool’s 5-0 EFL Cup win, but injury to Emre Can threw a net over those plans.
