Despite Chievo and Palermo being among Mario Balotelli’s few admirers, it is unlikely that Mario Balotelli will leave Liverpool for Italy.
Mario Balotelli is aware of his unwanted status at Liverpool and is searching for a new club, but, with time running out, could the Italian opt for a domestic switch?
Given Balotelli’s position at Liverpool, it is not an option to remain at Liverpool and try to fight his way to prominence. Instead, the former Manchester City striker could look to switch to a team within the Premier League.
Gazzetta World claims that Liverpool would prefer to sell to a Premier League club, with Everton and Crystal Palace tipped as the most likely destinations. This doesn’t seem very likely either, as Christian Benteke has just joined Palace, as well as Loic Remy, who the London club have signed on a season-long loan. Everton has, by all appearances, managed to hold on to Romelu Lukaku, who was highly tipped to join Chelsea in a mega-money move.
With the clock ticking and very little options, Balotelli will be beginning to stress about where his future lies.
