Liverpool’s £11 million bid for Christian Pulisic has been rejected, according to reports in Germany.

A bid worth eleven million pounds was submitted to Borussia Dortmund for Christian Pulisic, but according to German website Kicker, the offer has been turned down.

Jürgen Klopp is an admirer of the Pennsylvanian wonder kid after giving him his first taste of first-team involvement in his last year at Dortmund. The Express claim that Liverpool’s boss will continue to keep tabs on Pulisic despite not being successful in persuading his former club to part ways with the winger.

The reports of a bid for Pulisic fuel fan frustration at the lack of transfer movement as far as left-backs or defensive midfielders go. Alberto Moreno and James Milner, a central midfielder, are currently vying for the left-back spot. The fact that Liverpool’s first choice left-back is actually a central midfielder speaks volumes.
