Sadio Mané was rushed to hospital earlier today after the winger hurt his shoulder in a collision during training and then returned to Melwood with his arm in a sling.
Jürgen Klopp’s injury woes may have been compounded after Sadio Mané was taken to the Spire, a private hospital in Liverpool, for scans on his shoulder after injuring it in a morning training session.
The rest of the squad continued with the session after a club physio took Mane to the hospital. According to the Daily Mail, Mané may have dislocated his arm which would mean a lengthy lay off and will directly contrast against Liverpool’s bright start to the season against Arsenal.
Liverpool already have Loris Karius, Lucas Leiva, Mamadou Sakho, Joe Gomez and Sheyi Ojo out injured.
That being said, the club are still yet to receive word back on the results of the scans so there are no definitive answers on Mané’s injury. If the reports prove true and Liverpool’s £34 million man has dislocated his shoulder then Klopp will have to use his depth in attacking talent to make it through the difficult set of games ahead with the Reds having to play Spurs, Chelsea and Leicester in the next three weeks.
