According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mario Balotelli’s agent is in discussion with Chievo president Luca Campedelli over a move to Italy.
Balotelli has had very poor career with Liverpool and after returning from loan with AC Milan he was told to find a new club as he has no future at Liverpool.
His attitude since signing has been lackadaisical and that’s being kind. There has never been any real show of real desire from the Italian and while it may have been tolerated under Brendan Rodgers it will never fly under Jürgen Klopp.
The Serie A side are the most recent side to be linked with signing Balotelli after interest from Ajax, Galatasaray, Pescara and Crotone. Whether or not any of these sides had any concrete interest is uncertain.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the talks between Mino Raiola, Balotelli’s agent, and Chievo are at an advanced point.
As a Liverpool fan, I’m not bothered where he goes but rather that he goes.
