Last night Liverpool took Barcelona apart scoring 4 goals in front of 90,000 strong Wembley crowd.
If you missed the game last night I really feel bad for you because it was a belter.
The game got off to a scorching start with Liverpool’s pressing causing a lot of problems for Barcelona. Sadio Mané’s opener came as a result of brilliant pressing from Adam Lallana and the Englishman’s willingness to sprint up the pitch and get the ball back which he gave to Mané.
The second half was no different with Barcelona struggling to find a foothold in the game due to the explosiveness of Liverpool’s style. Very soon Jordan Henderson doubled the lead and not long after that Divock Origi added a third after Kevin Stewart won back possession and fed the Belgian in on goal.
The goal of the game came from Marko Grujic who latched onto a chipped ball from Markovic and his looping header found the net brilliantly.
