Today we find out that Liverpool could sell Jordon Ibe, Klopp wants Ante Coric before the Reds’ tour of the US and Blaszczykowski is linked with Liverpool.
Liverpool are set to tour the United States on the 22nd of July and Klopp wants to bring Ante Coric to Liverpool before the Reds set out for America.
Croatian news outlet, 24 Sata are claiming that Liverpool are keen on the Croatian international following impressive performances for his country in France at the European Championships. Club owners, FSG will pay £13 million up-front in order to seal the deal with Chelsea and Manchester City both circling.
It is understood that if Coric does sign, but not in time for Liverpool’s pre-season tour, then he will be loaned out to Klopp’s previous club Mainz. The youngster has kept up with Liverpool targets linking themselves with the club through social media. It would seem the silliness behind a player liking pictures on Instagram and them being linked with the club has continued.
It is also reported that Klopp has held a long-term appreciation for Coric and was tracking him during his time with German stalwarts, Borussia Dortmund. The likelihood of Coric having much impact isn’t high especially if the club is already considering loaning him out.

When Klopp was at Borussia Dortmund he won the Bundesliga twice and a player who was essential in his gegenpressing machine was the mercurial workhorse that is Jakub Blaszczykowski.
Bild, a German news outlet, have reported that Klopp could bring his former player to Anfield for as little £6 million. During his peak days with Dortmund, Blaszczykowski was a highly sought after winger and with Liverpool looking to find strength in depth ‘Kuba’ could be the man to do so as far as the flanks go.
Despite having a wholly unsuccessful loan spell with Fiorentina last season it is hard to dismiss the importance he held to Klopp’s counter-attacking machine that dominated Germany and Europe for a few years. When Dortmund were a force at the peak of European football it seems easy to forget or dismiss a player like Blaszczykowski when you have talents like Lewandowski, Gotze or Reus in the team.
The thing about Klopp’s teams is that they only function effectively when there are hard working players like Blaszczykowski and Łukasz Piszczek. Liverpool would do well with a player of Kuba’s work ethic. That being said he does bring a goal threat and appears to be going through a purple pitch have scored two and setup another during Poland’s Euro 26 campaign.
News has emerged that Liverpool has accepted a £15 million bid from Bournemouth for Jordon Ibe. The Cherries will make the young winger their record signing and the Reds won’t bar Ibe from completing the move.
Ibe struggled to break into Liverpool’s first team last season with Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana often occupying the wide midfield spots. It would appear that Bournemouth is relying on Ibe’s frustration to open up a move to the Vitality Stadium.
Liverpool’s out of favour winger signed a 5-year contract last year and will make decisions concerning his Liverpool career in the coming days. The £34 million signing of Sadio Mané will likely further restrict Ibe’s playing time and this could hugely impact his decision as to whether or not he should stay.
