According to the Daily Mail, the Bayern Munich is unsettled with the German giants and is open to a move to England.

The Poland international, who is at the Euros with his country, is currently negotiating a new contract but is understood to be open to offers from clubs in England.

Bayern’s star forward, who scored 42 goals in 52 appearances last season, has been linked with English clubs – including Liverpool in the past.

The Daily Mail claims that Lewandowski has “told friends” that he is open to offers and there are suggestions that he would be open to the idea of working with Jürgen Klopp again. The two worked together at Dortmund where Klopp signed Lewandowski for €4.5 million.

There were reports that Liverpool was going to sign Gonzalo Higuain and it has emerged that the reports had no factual base to them.  Perhaps, Liverpool are looking to sign Lewandowski instead.

There is no doubt that Bayern’s number 9 would be suited to Klopp’s style of play after emerging as one of Europe’s deadliest forwards under his management during their time together in Germany. Liverpool desperately need world class up front and who better to provide this class than Robert Lewandowski.
