According to Liverpool’s Adam Lallana a game plan has been devised to secure the victory when the Reds travel to Arsenal on Monday night.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are in third above Arsenal having won the first games of the season 1-0.

“The manager will set us up to get a result there,” the London Evening Standard quote Lallana as saying.

“We’ve had two clean sheets in two games and we’ll be looking for a third on Monday night. We’re going there to try to get the win,” he added.

In the reverse fixture Liverpool were swept aside by a brutish Arsenal side. Rodgers’ men went down 4-1. As with Stoke City they will be looking for revenge.

“We’ll go to Arsenal with a game plan to keep this run going,” he said. “We’ve got a full week to prepare for Arsenal now. Hopefully we can go there and put on a good show.”

“It was a real poacher’s finish. It was a great ball in from Hendo and Benteke is a predator in the box.

“He’s a big presence up there. He’s great in the air and good with his feet. He brings teammates into play,” he said of the man who won the game against Bournemouth.
